A 10 week group program designed to increase your understanding of what it means to have ADHD as an adult, and how to overcome many of the common difficulties.
Run by our clinical psychologists, Dr Aspasia Karageorge and Alexander Mclennan, you will learn life-long skills to better understand, manage, and work to the strengths of ADHD. This includes practical skills for planning, time management, staying focussed, and completing tasks on time, as well as delving into the social and emotional aspects of ADHD, navigating relationships, and understanding yourself in a deeper and more powerful way.
The course will build your ability to stay focussed, get things done before a deadline, slow down and take a breath, and keep on track.
The group is educational with the opportunity to interact as much or as little as you prefer, and includes experiential exercises throughout. You will receive weekly slides and video resources that you can watch to refresh your memory, so you can use the skills for years to come.
The group is of great benefit to adults newly diagnosed with ADHD, as well as those who have had a diagnosis for some time. The group is even beneficial for people who want to know more about ADHD, or who want to better support a family member or friend.
