How is seeing a psychologist different to talking to a close friend?
We hope you feel supported, cared about and understood like you would with a close friend. However, psychologists have skills and expertise in evidence-based therapies which have been shown to be effective treatments. You will therefore learn skills designed to address your specific concerns and goals.
